Hmmm....from a mans/fathers point of view it made me sad...everyone posted how funny or so true but I know it to be different. I truly hope your days are filled with joy and that you're not frazzled from the time you awake until the kids are in bed..am I that far removed being that I'm not home all day with the kids and have to go to work?

My days definitely contain joy as well! This is meant to be a simple, funny post that I think most SAHMs can relate to because taking care of kids day in and day out can absolutely be exhausting. It's also an amazing blessing that I wouldn't trade for anything. But obviously I couldn't include every single moment of my day in just one post...a day also includes smiles, laughter, silly stories, memories, snuggles...so much joy, indeed. And I think you know enough about me and my past to know how truly grateful I am for all of it. But have I had days like this one? You betcha. A lot of people have the attitude that SAHMs have it made, but we work hard too, and we make sacrifices in other areas. (I mean, hey, I don't get to have lunch dates with you anymore!)

My comment was too long. It wouldn't let me post all of it...
In a nutshell - It's a beautiful, wonderful life that I absolutely love, but yes, it is frazzling at times, and yes, you would understand better if you were home all day. ;)

Also, keep in mind that your kids are significantly older, and you may have blocked out the frazzledness of the young ages. HA!
